St Gabriel’s striker Ryan Lashley continues to impress in the BICO-sponsored National Sports Council’s Primary Schools Football Tournament.
Today at Briar Hall, Christ Church, the promising youngster scored two superb goals to help his side to a 3-1 victory over St Winifred’s. St Gabriel’s are having a good run so far in the competition and Lashley has been their main offensive weapon. Zachary Applewhite also scored for St Gabriel’s while Adrian Moore scored St Winifred’s lone goal of the game.

There were other matches played at the same venue and Milton Lynch were also in winners’ circles thanks to Paul Clarke who scored in the second half of the game to give his side a 1-0 victory against St Christopher.

St Bartholomew’s Primary defeated Vauxhall Primary 2-1 with goals from captain Haylon Pilgrim and Thierry Jones, while Shaquan Butcher was Vauxhall’s goal-scorer.
At Greens, St George, St Judes defeated Bay Primary 3-2 with Shamari Harewood, Wylan Burrowes and Donte Gill scoring for the winners.
At Blenheim, Tyrell Haynes, Alex Greenidge, Shakobe Bentham and Trey Byer scored a goal apiece for George Lamming who defeated Belmont 4-2. Hakeem Perryman and Adrian Bynoe scored for Belmont.
At Passage Road, Wesley Hall defeated Westbury Primary 2-0 with Jaheem Waithe and Janash Janai scoring for the winners. In another encounter St Mary’s Christian Shepherd and Javier Ward both scored in their school’s 2-0 win over Alfalah.
At Speightstown, St Peter, Half Moon Fort and St Lucy played to a 1-1 draw with Eon Thomas scoring for the former and Kwathani Norville netting for St Lucy.
At the same venue, Ignatius Byer beat Selah Primary 2-1 with Dontae Scantlebury and Devonte Boyce getting the two goals for their school and Quemar Carrington scoring for Selah.
All Saints got goals from Zachari Richardson, Jacobi Morris, Tyrese Yoemens and Shewayne Burke in their 4-0 victory over Gordon Greenidge, while Aaron Cumberbatch’s brace gave Roland Edwards a 2-1 win over Boscobel for whom Joshua Edwards scored.
